The Blogshop’s Best Blog Awards 2012 – And The Winners Are…

In January, we launched The Blogshop’s Best Blog Awards 2012 with the aim of giving some well-deserved recognition to a number of fantastic blogs.

During the initial entry period, we received a high number of entries and were blown away by the sheer amount of quality that was apparent in the blogging world.

From those with a traditional theme and focus to more modern and fresh blogs, the whole judging panel found it particularly difficult to whittle down the entrants to the 10 shortlisted blogs within each category, before they even started to decide on the winning line!

However, after several weeks of tough judging, the first, second and third placed blogs within each category have now been decided upon and they are as follows:

“A clean, crisp, modern take on a traditional blog design. A perfect reflection of the company”

Third:  Write Speak Sell

“As soon as you open up the blog, you know what’s available and where you need to go to get it”

Best Use Of A Blog

First:  HerUni

“A wonderful blog – great idea, great topics, great content”

Second:  In From The Outfield

“Loving this. Interesting and up-to-date. Original and knowledgeable content”

A huge congratulations to all of our first, second and third placed blogs!

As mentioned, we received a considerably high number of entries and the quality right across the board was fantastic – our judges agreed that to even make the shortlists was an achievement in itself!

I’d also like to thank each and every one of you who entered a blog into the awards in the first place – it’s been an absolutely fantastic event for everyone involved and we’re already looking forward to the entries we’ll receive next year!

The Blogshop’s Best Blog Awards 2012 have without doubt been a success and we hope that by continuing to show what can be achieved through a business blog, we raise the awareness of the many benefits of business blogging, as every organisation really can benefit from communicating with their target audience through a business blog.
